Beginners Guide: Snowboarding equipment to rent

On your first trip you don’t need to own every piece of snowboard equipment.  The cost to buy and transport a snowboard, the bindings and boots could be more than the holiday itself.  For your first hol just rent in the resort.

1. Rent your snowboard, bindings and boots in resort.
2. If you book a package holiday see if you can get cheap equipment rental from your tour operator.
3. Consider hiring your snowboard jacket and trousers rather than buying.
4. Hire protection, especially a helmet and perhaps wrist guards, knee pads and impact shorts.
