The music and rider lineup has been released for the Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival, returning to Battersea Power Station this October!
Names such as Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash and DJ Shadow keep the music lineup immense, while riders already confirmed include Jamie Nicholls, Marco Grilc and Gjermund Braaten.
The UK’s biggest Winter Sports Festival and Apres Ski Party is returning to the iconic Battersea Power Station towers in London for the fifth year, with over 35,000 expected to enjoy world class winter sports action on the slope during the day and electric performances by Public Enemy, DJ Shadow and Mark Ronson vs Zane Lowe by night.
The UK’s only ski, snowboarding and music festival will return in all its glory with American Hip Hop pro DJ Shadow headlining the main stage on Friday night. Made legendary by his 1996 debut, Endtroducin, DJ Shadow is set to raise the temperature on Friday night.
When the sun sets on the slope on Saturday, Hip Hop trailblazers Public Enemy will be headlining the main stage. Public Enemy’s single Harder Than You Think is the current soundtrack to Channel Four’s acclaimed ‘Meet The Superhumans’ Paralympic campaign.
Also taking to the main stage will be a new project from two of the most respected names in the music industry. A-YO! (Mark Ronson & Zane Lowe) will be energizing the crowd with their critically-acclaimed electronic music set. This formidable musical force sees internationally renowned producer Mark Ronson and the UK’s biggest tastemaker Zane Lowe come to Battersea as part of their current tour.
Hip hop legend Grandmaster Flash, whose trailblazing turntable techniques inspired a generation of DJ’s also appears on the bill.
In addition to the music, the world’s best skiers and snowboarders will be jetting in for the international snowboarding and ski big air competitions.
