If you don’t know SuperRad, you should. Run by two of the raddest guys in snowboarding, Lewis Sonvico and James Sweet, SuperRad is a new breed of snow camps, developing your riding while still making sure you have maximum fun on the mountain too.
With some unbelievable powder levels blanketing the Alps right now, we’re counting down the days til our first trip. But even with 50 days still to go til we’re in Morzine, we can’t help but be excited about spending a week with SuperRad. And if you’re keeping up to date on Facebook and Twitter/Instagram with all their pics and happenings, there’s no doubt you’ll be as stoked too.
And, what’s more, SuperRad are causing some havoc in the Alps this winter, with 4 camps set up for everyone to get involved; 2 in Morzine, shredding Portes du Soleil, and 2 in Tignes, tearing through Espace Killy. After an awesome summer of fun loving and snowboard shredding in Tignes, meeting some real cool people, winter is starting early with a winter warm up shred week hooking up with the rad dudes from the Dragon Lodge, starting 15th December.
After all the snow that’s been coming down recently and bigger snow storms due, its going to be one hell of a fun way to start off your winter! Literally 2 metres in the last couple days!In January, SuperRad are off to play in Morzine with Treeline Chalets with the Huck Your Meat Shred week – a week of ‘freestyle’ riding, all across the mountain, using the rad parks all over Portes du Soleil as a training ground.
With the bar being set high with requirements, this will be rad if you can make the cut.
March sees a big mission for the boyos, James and Lewis, with a Shredders week in Morzine.
There’s no better way to ride a mountain than to meet someone that’s be riding it for years, being shown around to all the best spots and ride the best conditions Portes du Soleil has to offer, every day. Aimed at a wide range of abilities as long as you love to ride a snowboard, the game is on!Lastly, a Young Guns shred week over the X-games week. The Brits have moved to Tignes this year and are following the X-games.
The SuperRad team has thrown this one on for the mini rippers out there – what a place to get inspired to ride than at the X-games, hanging out with real snowboarders, who do it for the pure love of it.
With an incredibly rad area to ride, awesome parks, and with a load more money being put in by Tignes Development this year, there’s no better place to get ready and be prepared to ride the Brit’s comps the week after.
The winter is on! Don’t miss it this year, make the most of it and ride with SuperRad!
